BEACH CLOSED
By order of the Department of Public Health and Safety
Due to numerous complaints and pending legal actions regarding earlier events, this beach is hereby closed until further notice.
We encourage you to return to your cars as quickly as possible. Please keep an eye on anyone who may have accompanied you here. Use the buddy system until you have safely left the area.
Please do not return until the beach has been reopened. It is possible to check on the status of the beach by logging on to the Department of Public Health and Safety website. This will allow you to check the status of the beach without visiting and exposing yourself to beach-related risk.
This beach is closed. There are no lifeguards on duty. However, there are call boxes every hundred feet, and regular police patrols. In an emergency simply activate the nearest call box and you will be directly connected with the police department.
DO NOT WEAR GRAY. For your safety, and the safety of those around you, anyone found wearing gray will be fined.
Thank you for visiting our beach, we hope you return once it is reopened.
If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Aquatic Health and Safety at the Department of Public Health and Safety.
