Final Fantasy Football

It wouldn’t be the Yeardley Hall Fantasy Football League without a
heavy dose of drama and intrigue.  Late last night Dave Andersen made
several lopsided trades with Jonah Miller.  These trades shored up
Andersen’s defensive line, an area analysts have agreed is the weakest
of his team.  The trade, despite appearing to yield no benefit to
Miller, was approved by league commissioner Chris Scalieri.

Accusations of regulatory impropriety came soon after the trades were
announced at this morning’s dining hall press conference.  Michael
Forster, currently in second place behind Andersen, noted that
Andersen and Scalieri had recently pledged the same fraternity, Beta
Beta Tau
.  Further rumors were brought up indicating that Miller was
willing to trade because his new girlfriend has put more demands on
his time, and Miller is totally bitching out by quitting the league
because of a chick.

Another league member, speaking on condition of anonymity, said it
was, “totally uncool for this sort of shady shit to happen, especially
with dudes we thought were cool.”  Andersen and Scalieri were at class
and could not be reached for comment.  Miller was similarly
unavailable as indicated by a sock on his doorknob.

The concerned coaches and commissioner Scalieri are scheduled to meet
with the league ombudsman in the coming week.
